Suddenly on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the age of 82 at Belleville General Hospital. Beloved husband of Phyllis Cronkright. Loved father of Brian (Tracy) Cronkright of Deseronto and Judy Preston of Belleville. Grandfather of Mitchell (Cassandra), Justin, Kayla, Ryan, Jenny. Great-grandfather of Jared. Brother of Roy, Ernie, Irene Hosking, Evelyn Barrett, Diane Hunter, Sandra, Gwen and Bob. Lorne was predeceased by Doug, Audrey, Evelyn, Eugene and Norman Barnum. He will be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews. Lorne was formerly of Lake St. Peter, Ontario (23 years). Lorne’s family will receive friends and family on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church (73 North St, Stirling, ON K0K 3E0). A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Anglican Church in Stirling or Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Maynooth would be appreciated by the family.
