At the Belleville General Hospital, on Wednesday, January 08, 2020. Edith Parks, age 73, was the beloved wife of Garfield Parks. Loving mother of Nancy Parks, Linda Caron, Gary Parks, Bob Parks (Tammy), Rick Parks (Christine) and Dave Parks (Tracy). Loving grandmother of Tonya Gunter (Aaron), Lisa Grimshaw (Mike), Ashley Carrol (Scott), Matt Caron, Paul Parks, Bethanne Parks, Peter Parks, Courtney Stone, Jordan Stone, Hayleigh Parks, Faith Parks and Owen Parks. Great-grandmother of Riley, Curtis, Sarah, Adrian, Hailey, Dawn, Jayden, Brently, Austin, and Brooklyn. Sister of Ed Nicholls, Bill Nicholls, Mary Lonsberry and sister-in-law of Lawrence Parks. Predeceased by her sisters Vera King, Helen Sidle, Evelyn Vaughan, Stella Ellis (Larry) and her brother Wallace Nicholls. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Edith’s Life will take place at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St., N., Bancroft) on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the lower level of the church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
