Peacefully, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. William Cooney, age 75 of McArthurs Mills, was the beloved husband of the late Laura Boomhour (2013). Brother of John Cooney of Bancroft. Predeceased by his parents John and Alice Cooney, and his sisters Florence Cooney, Annabelle Maxwell, Vera Plumley and Helen Cooney. Survived by many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside service will take place at St. Micheal’s Anglican Cemetery, Coe Hill, at a later date.
