It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Desmond Dubreuil, on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the age of 78. He will be forever missed by his loving partner, Sandra “Sandy” Durham, his loving son Joseph (Monica), step-son Karl (Pam), step- daughter Jackie, his sisters Claire (Leo deceased), Pauline (Ray), Annette, his step-grandchildren Alyssa, Tanner, Jacob, Kalista, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Des will be remembered for his love of golf, being a dedicated Legion (419) member of over 50 years and playing cards. Desmond’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (10 Post Street, Whitney) on Monday, October 29, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Malachy Ekezie presiding. Interment at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, Whitney. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday Nov 10, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch (419), 484 Bay St., Port Perry. The Family wishes to thank Port Perry Lakeridge Hospital for the wonderful care and support received, especially Dr. M. Brown.
