At the Pembroke Regional Hospital, Pembroke, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.  Philip August, age 77 of Whitney, was the husband of the late Leona Sovie (2008).  Loving father of Denise Sovie-Lindley of Bancroft and the late Matthew “Pone” Sovie (2016).  Loved grandfather of Macy and Brandon, great-grandfather of Nicholas.  Loved brother of Gladys (Alex), Brian (Sandra), Murray (Donna) and the late Bert, Marion and Marjorie (Ennis).  Brother-in-law of Trueman Sovie, Phil Sovie, Milly Miles, Mary-Lou Sovie, Mayme Sovie, and Jean Banbrent.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.  Philip’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G.
