Oct.16, 1926 - Apr. 6, 2018. Passed away peacefully, at the Valley Manor Nursing Home, Barry’s Bay, on Friday, April 6, 2018 after a brief illness. Klaas Staal, at the age of 91, was predeceased by his loving wife Charlotte Jacoba Staal (2013), son Terry (2004), sisters Nel Morrison (Tom), Toni Fuller (Jim), and parents Art and Carla. Left to mourn and also rejoice in his home going to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, are his son Brian (Vicky), grandsons Darren (Melissa) of Carleton Place, and Sean (Nadia) of Ottawa. Great-grandchildren Kylie, Dyllan, Caden, McKenna of Carleton Place, Hunter Arabella of Ottawa, as well as nieces, Patricia Pritchett , Carla Morrison, Shirley Eadie and many friends. A Graveside Service will take place at the Methodist Cemetery (Pine Crescent, Combermere), on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Purdy Community Church (13 Centreview Road, Combermere).
