At his home in Whitney, on Thursday, March 22, 2018. George Bandy, age 67, was the beloved husband of Violet Nagy. Loved father of Jason (Jessica) and step children Dawson, Christine, Jen, and Alex. Loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his step-father Ray Bruce of Alberta, and siblings Doris, Lois, Dorothy, Lorne of Ontario, and Elmer, Isabel, Eric, Barry, Esther of Alberta. Predeceased by his parents James and Gladys (Ruttan) Bandy. Loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will take place at Club 580 (Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Interment, St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Bancroft.
