Peacefully, at his home in Maynooth, on Sunday, July 02, 2017. Jim Green, age 84 of Maynooth, was the beloved husband of Marie (Sutherland) (Holbrook) Green, and the late Amy (Musclow) Green (1995). Loving father of Jodi Aoki (Naomichi) of Peterborough, Jimmy Green (Carol) of Maynooth, Kevin Green (Nancy) of Bowmanville, and Senaroun Tamkican (Vinh) of Ottawa. Loved step-father of Doreen Armella (Roger) of B.C., Carol Hogan (Philip) of Kenora, Barry Holbrook of Maynooth, and Kay Evans of Alberta. Survived by 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Brother of Ted, Bill, Aileen, Mary, Katherine, Claire and Patsy. Predeceased by Sammy, Jack, Lawrence, Doris and Anne. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Tuesday evening 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Wednesday morning, 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church (51 Hwy 127, Maynooth) on Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. Interment St. Ignatius Martyr Cemetery, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Quinte Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
