At Quinte Health Care North hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, July 01, 2017. Martin Van Vugt, age 87 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of the late Johanna (Vanuden) Van Vugt (2001). Loving father of Jack (Laura) Van Vugt of Apsley, Trudy (Andy) MacLean of Orangeville, Doug (Harriette) Van Vugt of Ottawa, Annette (Nancy) Van Vugt of Whitby, Lilly (Gordon) Gunter of PEI, and Mary Sever of Bancroft. Loved grandfather of Melissa, Michael, Brent, Sarah and great-grandfather of Hayla, Sophia, Mya, Alexis and Rory. Predeceased by his son Harold and grandsons Craig and Ryan. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium.
