At the Hastings Centennial Manor in Bancroft on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, Arlene (Creighton) Stone aged 79 of Bancroft. Beloved wife of Cecil Stone of Bancroft. Loving mother of Ted Stone of Belleville, Darlene Driver (Doug Sawdon) of Bancroft, Cynthia (Wayne Bullock) of Belleville. Beloved Grandmother of ten grand-children and 22 great grand-children. Arlene was predeceased by her son Terry. Also predeceased by John, Sharon, Mona, Faye and Joe. Beloved sister of Francis, Dan, Don, Steven, Nancy, Tom, Rick, Susan and Roger. Arlene will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, May 13, at the Bancroft Legion (16 Station St., Bancroft) from 12 noon to 3 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery at 3:00 pm. with Rev. Lynn Watson officiating.
