At Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Robert Ruttan, age 85, of McArthurs Mills, was the beloved husband of the late Ileene (Bruce) Ruttan (2009). Loved father of Terry Ruttan of McArthurs Mills. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Margaret (Dool) Ruttan, and by his siblings Henry, Gordon, Basil, Arthur, Emily, Lila, Beezy, Frances and Gladys. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Robert's family will receive relatives and friends at the Mayo Community Centre (Mayo Lake Road, McArthurs Mills) on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Robert's ashes in Hermon Cemetery in the spring.
