Passed away gently, in her own home just as she had wished, at sunset 4:44 pm on Super Moon Monday, November 14, 2016. Predeceased in February by her loving husband, Robert Wallace. Wonderful mother of Kathryn Wishlow (& Ken), K-Ronica & Gene Strouth, Kris & Rosie Kadwell, step-daughter Judy Woolley. Beloved grandmother of Ron & Jenn Wishlow, Kendra & Taylor Wishlow Partridge, Karl & Claire Kadwell, Shawn Kadwell, Ryan Rodewald & Kristyl-Rose Strouth. Doting great-grandmother of Kaelynn Rodewald. Carol was a retired Special Ed. Teacher, a renowned artist, a photographer, a musician & singer, a writer & visionary, a crystal collector, a world traveler, a seamstress & crocheter, an avid reader, a kitty lover, a natural health and wellness advocate, a tree hugger and a lover of all living things… A LIFE WELL LIVED!!!. She will be very missed by her family and friends, and was very grateful for the help of Penny O’Neil & all of her caring PSWs. She has been cremated, and her “Celebration of a Life Well Lived” will be on Sunday, November 27th, 2pm, at M.G. Daly Funeral home, (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth). Donations to the Canadian Wildlife Federation and Hospice North Hastings on her behalf would be greatly appreciated.
