Suddenly, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry’s Bay on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Ambrose age 91, was the husband of the late Dellis (2012). Loved father of Eric Pordonick (Cathy) of Whitney. Loved grandfather of Lucas and Kayla (Jamie). Predeceased by sisters Mary, Beatrice and brother Bob. Brother-in-law of Freeda Higginson of Madawaska, the late Marion Sileff and the late Basil Dupuis. He will be missed by many friends, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Memorial Service will take place at St. Anthony’s Anglican Church (131 Church Hill St., Whitney) on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Darlene Cunliffe presiding. Interment will follow at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery in Whitney. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Francis Memorial Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
