Peacefully at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto on Thursday, October 6, 2016, David went to be with his Lord and Saviour. Beloved husband of Wendy (Gilmore) Barkley. Loved father of Stephen (Donna) of Bracebridge and Kathy (Nathan) of Bracebridge. Loved grandfather of Ryan, Chase, Rylee and soon coming sister of Rylee. Loved brother of Kenneth Donald Barkley (Linda) and Marilyn Lacroix. Dave loved Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream and woodworking was a special joy in his life. David's family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Monday, October 10, 2016, 2:00-4:00 7:00 -9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike West officiating. Interment will take place at Horton Cemetery in Renfrew. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Gideons would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
