Kathleen passed away suddenly, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre with her husband Allan by her side on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Kathleen Borutski, age 66, of Maynooth, was the beloved wife of Allan Borutski. Loving mother of Dwayne Borutski, mother-in-law of Pia Poblete, and step-grandmother of Noah. Sister of Theresa Hunter (Tip), Barry McCormick (Phyllis), Rose Buffett, Bill McCormick (Marie), Marilyn Fischer, Chris McCormick (Eva), and Margaret Stagg. Sisters-in-law of Helen McCormick, Linda Mullin (John) and brother-in-law of Lorne Olmstead. Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Marie McCormick, her sister Rita, brothers James, Hugh, Terry, Peter, brothers-in-law Michael, Bob, Ray, Jurgen and sister-in-law Alta Olmstead. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews (30), great nieces and nephews (38), great-great nieces and nephews (3) and many friends. Kathleen was a teacher with the Catholic School Board for over 45 years. Kathleen’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church (51 Hwy #127, Maynooth) on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. Interment St. Ignatius Cemetery, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Maynooth & Area Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
