Peacefully, at Providence Care Health Service, Kingston, on Saturday, July 02, 2016. Harold Gallagher, age 87 was the beloved husband of Beverley (Thurston) Gallagher. Loving father of Karen Rubec (Sam) of Quebec, Kevin Gallagher of Peterborough, Shaun Gallagher (Marlene) of Peterborough, Shelley Gallagher (Tom Espe) of Toronto, Brian Gallagher (Patti-Ann) of Haliburton, and Step-father of Barry Lawrence (Sharon) of Bowmanville. Loved grandfather of William (Lindsay), Rebecca, Joseph (Aimee), Katherine (Jamie), Matthew, Kristen (Mike), Emily (Mathieu) and Susan. Great-grandfather of Odin, Lucas, Isaac, Olivia, Rachel, Phillip, William and Ryleigh. Son of the late John and Pearl (Donnelly) Gallagher. Brother and brother-in-law of Theresa Donnelly (the late Bobby), Pat Green (Bill), Carmel Shulist (Art), Noreen Gallagher, Thomas Gallagher (Marjorie) and Shiela Douglas (Wayne). Predeceased by his sister Doris, and brothers Dan (the late Joan), and Steven. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Harold’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Tuesday, July 05, 2016 from 10:00 – 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding.
