Suddenly, at his home in Maynooth, on Friday, May 27, 2016. Leo Scott, age 61, was the beloved husband of Barbara (Gruntz) Scott. Loved father of Wendy Dehler of Kanata. Loving grandfather of Steccia and Justus. Brother of Robert Scott(Joan), Bonnie Jessup (Gil), Joyce Shields (Fred), Rita Leroux (Bob) and the late Gerry Scott and Phillis Fitzgibbon. Brother-in-law of Kathy Shotton (Dave), Shelley Gruntz, and Sharon Chippier (Larry). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Leo’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial has taken place at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. Cremation followed at Lakefield Crematorium. A graveside service will take place at St. Ignatius Martyr Cemetery in Maynooth on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Moses Nwosu presiding. A light lunch will follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
