Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Robert Walker, age 69 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Donna (Corey) Walker. Lovingly missed by his children Douglas Walker (Jennifer) and Jeff Walker (Rebecca) all of Barrie. Loved grandfather of Scott, Michelle, Matthew and Emily, and great-grandfather of Dominic, T.J. and Caedy. Son of the late Jack and Bessie Walker, and brother of Murray Walker (June) and the late Betty Robbins the late Howard Walker. Sister-in-law of Donna Walker. Robert had a 31 year career with the MTO, and will be sadly missed by many friends. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A private graveside service will take place at L’Amable Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
