Peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Ollie Snider, age 89, was the beloved husband of Joyce (Creighton) Snider of Bancroft. Loving father of Suzanne D’Amato of Toronto. Brother of Phyllis and the late Harold Fenton of Gananoque and Victor Snider (Faye) of Gooderham. Brother-in-law of Donald Creighton of Bancroft, Shirley (Jack) Hogarth of Bancroft, and Jean Fitzgerald of Maple Leaf. Predeceased by his sisters Opal Rupnow, Ruth Adams (Maurice), and Erma Wemp (Al), and his brother Gerald Snider (Rita). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ollie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Friday May 15, 2015, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Jonathan Kouri officiating. Cremation will follow at Lakefield Crematorium, with interment of Ollie’s cremated remains in Egan Creek United Church Cemetery, Detlor.
