Peacefully, at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Friday, May 01, 2015, on the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. Len York, age 91 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of 61 years to Isabel (Tomasini) York. Loved brother-in-law of Violet O'Brien, Edith Doney, Mary Schutt, Lawrence Tomasini (Susan), and Laura Tomasini. Predeceased by his sisters-in-law Eunice Tomansini, Teresa Tomasini, Tina Parks and brother-in-law Angelo Tomasini. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Len was a faithful parishioner, a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years, an avid fisherman, hunter, and a Jack of all Trades. Len's family will receive relatives and friends at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (196 Bridge St. W., Bancroft) from 1:30 – 3:45 p.m. on Monday, May 04, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Father Patrick Dobec presiding. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Bancroft.
