Peacefully, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Carl Kneebone, age 83, was the beloved husband of Mary (Hatch) Kneebone of Barry’s Bay. Father of Carla (Rick), Cindy (Roman), and Michael (Joanne). Step-father of Cheryl, Robert (Shelley) and Joyce (Walter). Predeceased by his step-son Kevin. Grandfather of Anthony (Lisa), Rose-Michelle (Chris), Cheryl (John), Jennifer, John, Jourdan, Megan, Abby, Amber, Skylar, Ali, Marianna, Molly, Evan and Tasha. Great-grandfather of Massimo, Lucianno, Gio, Isabella. Aiden, Alyssa, Skyler, Brock, Owen, and Cain. Great-great grandfather of Travis. Brother-in-law of John (Irene) and Bonnie. Carl had a long career with the Canadian Armed Forces, and served from 1949 until his retirement in 1984. Carl’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth), on Saturday, May 09, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. There will be no Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Interment of Carl’s Ashes in the family plot in Bothwell, ON at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
