Peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor, on Monday, April 06, 2015. George Young, age 86 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Marguerite (Hannah) Young. Loving father of Kevin Young (Sharon), Bonnie Bruce (Fred), Sharon Dillabough (Cameron), Wayne Young (Judy), Teresa Kerr (Clarence) and Rhonda Miller (Ron). Loved grandfather of Royce, Ian, Trevor, Terri, Michael, Crystal, Amanda, Sandy, Randy, Lyndsey, Melinda and Dustin. Great-grandfather of Jasmin, Keegan, Maiden, James, Kiptyn, Amber, C.J., Owen, Kristin, Jordan, Jackson, Bradley, Nathan, George, Billy, Dillin and Brandy. Brother and brother-in-law of Lois, Carmen (Dorothy), Marylou (Frank), Carl (Sharon), Ruby Huber (John Mark), Ernie Hannah (Paulette), and Carol Foultris (Peter). Predeceased by Anita, Erma, Mural, Betty, Marlene, Lawrence and Evan. George’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Thursday 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Bill Theobald officiating. Interment, Hermon Cemetery in the spring. A reception will follow at the Mayo Community Centre, McArthur Mills. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hastings Centennial Manor or the Alzheimer Society of Hastings - Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
