Veteran of WWII Infantry At the Valley Manor Nursing Home, Barry’s Bay, on Sunday, June 01, 2014. Thomas Chapeskie, age 92, was the beloved husband of the late Cora Joyce (Palbiski) Chapeskie (1981). Loving father of Myra Loder (James) of Toronto, and Patricia Harper (David) of Whitney. Loved grandfather of Cheryl (Steve), Kimberley (Ryan), Jennifer and brent. Great-grandfather of Natalie and Jake. Brother of Frances Borutski. Predeceased by Joe, Ambrose, Martin, Annie and Mary. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Tom was a life-long member of the Barry's Bay Legion. Tom’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (Post St., Whitney) on Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church on Friday, June 06, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Chris Shalla Presiding. Interment, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, McCoy Lake, Whitney.
