Peacefully, at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Monday, May 20, 2014. Madeleine Carleton, age 80, was the beloved wife for 60 years to James Carleton of McArthur’s Mills. Loving mother of Sandra Liedtke (The Rev. Randy) of Pembroke, Sheila Hall (Dave) of Orangeville, the late Darrell (Debbie) of Bancroft, Kevin (Irene) of McArthur’s Mills, Timothy (Marnie) of Orangeville, Shelley Bruce (Tom) of Port Hope, Roxanne Cunningham (Aaron) of McArthur’s Mills, and Clinton (Cindy) of Orangeville. Loving grandmother of Benjamin, Elijah, Shane, Troy, Kevin James, James, Shay-Lee, Bradley, Amanda, Ashley, Kyle, Adam, Isaic, Justin, Brandin, Nicholas, Kristen, Zachary and Joseph. Great-grandmother of 12. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Florence (Asselin) Charbonneau. Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Jack, and her sisters-in-law Shirley, Barbara, Mary, Pat, Lynne, Ena, Joan, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. A Memorial Service for Madeleine will take place at the Carlow Mayo Community Centre on Monday, May 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
