Passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus, in his 78th year, at the Quinte Health Care Centre, Bancroft, on Saturday, December 30, 2006. John (Jack) Allison, was the beloved husband of Irene (Budarick) Allison, and the loving father of Rosalea Marquardt of Purdy, Jackie Bishop and her husband Allan of Markham, Randy Allison and his wife Elaine of Maple Leaf, Rick Allison and his wife Kathy of Bancroft, Carman Allison of Toronto and Kim Allison of Peterborough. Proud grandfather of Krista and Steve Milmine, Janette Marquardt, Jon, Mary, Melissa and Jessica Allison and Chris Bishop. Dear Brother of Frank Allison of Lucknow, Earl and Karen Allison of Bancroft, Claude and May Allison of Bancroft, and Mary Stewart of Orangeville. Predeceased by his son-in-law James Marquardt (2006), sister-in-law Violet Allison and brother-in-law Milton Stewart. John served the community as the owner and founder of Allison’s Small Engines. John was a very active member of the Bancroft Bible Chapel and Boulter Bible Chapel. He will be fondly remembered for visiting and helping those in need. John’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Bible Chapel, on Tuesday, January 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Bancroft Bible Chapel (Hastings St. N.) on Wednesday, January 03, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Jim Paul officiating. Interment at Boulter Bible Chapel Cemetery in Boulter. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings, or Gideons would be appreciated by the family.
