Gerry passed away suddenly, at the Belleville General Hospital, on Thursday, November 23, 2006. Geraldine Geisel in her 74th year, was the loving wife of 54 years to Chuck Geisel of Bancroft. Loving mother to Terry (Audrey), and Brian (Rosemary) all of Kitchener, Mark (Josie) of Ajax, Christine Geisel (Paul) of Hamilton, and Jody (Nancy) of Bancroft. Loving Grama to 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Special grama to Travis Geisel. Predeceased by her parents, Harold and Leona (Moesser) Sully, a brother Harry and his wife Elenora Sully, brother-in-laws Wes Weppler, Jack Geisel, Frank Kretler, and Doug and his wife Teresa Geisel. Also predeceased by daughter-in-law Diane Geisel, and great-grandson Matthew McCarthy. Gerry will be sadly missed by all that loved her.
Gerry’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home, 200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth, on Saturday, November 25, 2006 from 12 – 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation to follow at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
