Passed away peacefully, in the arms of Jesus, at the St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, on Monday, November 13, 2006. James Marquardt, in his 55th year, was the beloved husband of Rosalea (Allison) Marquardt of Purdy. Loving father of Krista Milmine, and her husband Steve of Apsley, and Janette Marquardt of Purdy. Son of Melva Emerson of Barry’s Bay and the late Albert Marquardt. Dear brother of Morley Marquette and his wife Gloria of Purdy, Joan Cannon and her husband Fred Baker of Barry’s Bay, and Rachel Brinklow and her husband Bill of Manitouwadge. Son-in-law of John and Irene Allison. Brother-in-law of Jackie and Allan Bishop, Randy and Elaine Allison, Rick and Kathy Allison, Carman Allison and Kim Allison. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. James was the owner and operator of Arctic Cleaning in Purdy. The family will receive family and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle (Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Trafford officiating. Interment, Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Maynooth. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Purdy Baptist Church or the Marquardt Family would be appreciated.
