Passed away peacefully at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the age of 88. Violet, sister of Lucy Budarick of Boulter. Predeceased by brothers Raymond and Albert and sisters Rose (Vallieres) and Margaret (McCulloch). Predeceased by her parents Pierre and Viviane (Cointat) Saulay. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, and nephews. Violet was born April 02, 1935, and lived on the family farm on Lower Turriff Road in Dungannon Township with her parents. She later moved into town and then resided at the R.J. Brook Living Centre for the last 34 years. Violet’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Bible Chapel (106 Hastings St., N., Bancroft) on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 11:00 – 12:00 Noon. A Funeral Service will take place at 12 Noon, with Pastor Jim Mitchell officiating. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Bancroft. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Gideons International, Hospice North Hastings, or Bancroft Bible Chapel, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
