Peacefully, with his family at his side, Donald Jenkins, age 79, passed away in palliative care at PRHC on Sunday evening, 17 September 2023. Predeceased by his parents, Albert Jenkins, and Florence (Cairns) of Maple Leaf and Bancroft, and his infant sister Vera Muriel (d. 1934). Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bernice (Stringer); his children Jacqueline (Mél Hogan), James (Kerry), and Melanie (Gary Preston); his grandchildren Alora Kiff (Kevin), Leo Jenkins, and Mitchell Perdue, and his great-grandson Odin Kiff. He will be deeply missed by brother-in-law Lorne Stringer and sisters-in-law Eleanor Cadeau and Christine Stringer, and his many cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as friends in the community and across Canada. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life at the Bancroft Fish and Game Club (27602 ON-62) on Saturday 23 September 2023, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
