Surrounded by her family, at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, September 09, 2023.  Charmaine Devitt, age 64 of Bancroft, was the Beloved wife of Paul Devitt.  Loving mother of Chantelle (Curtis) Hinze of Bancroft.  Loved grandmother of Jordan and Landon.  Sister of John Lindeman (Lin) and Don Lindeman (Tofauna Lise).  Sister-in-law of Cap Devitt (Cora).  Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many friends.  Charmaine worked for many years with the MNR in Bancroft and Peterborough offices and finished her career with Service Ontario.  She Loved her grandchildren and taught them to craft and sew.  She loved to travel, swim, go camping and cross-country ski. She had the warmest best hugs and put everyone first.  She loved cooking, and nobody ever left her home without feeling full.  She will be sadly missed by all.  A private burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Charmaine’s family would like to welcome everyone to a Celebration of Life at M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 12 Noon – 4:00 p.m.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to our local Foodbank would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
