Peacefully, at her home in McArthur’s Mills, on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Bertha Wannamaker, age 72, was the beloved wife of Lewis Wannamaker. Loving mother of Trevor (Wanda), Shawn (Della), and Rodger. Loving grandmother of Amanda (Eric), Brad (Amber), Stephanie (Josh), Brandy, Julie, Cody, and Sara. Great-grandmother of Blair, Cameron, and Loretta. Sister and sister-in-law of Maxine Soules (John), Reg Liedtke (Donna), Yvonne Jamieson (Wayne), Arlene Madigan (Allan), Catherine Moore (Sonny) and Marie Hannah. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Gerena Liedtke, her brothers Ken and Wayne, her brothers-in-law Murray and Earl, and her sisters-in-law June, Madeline, Fern and Wilma. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Bertha worked at Hastings Centennial Manor for over 32 years and will be deeply missed. Bertha’s family will receive relatives and friends at a Graveside Service on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Long Lake Cemetery (Mayo Lake Road, Hartsmere, ON), with Pastor Garry Robinson officiating.
