April 6th, 1957 - June 5th, 2023 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends in her 66th year. Predeceased by her parents, Dorothy Ann Gratton and Ken Gratton, and the late Dale Buott. She is survived by her four children, Cory, Dan (Daisy-Mae), Amber (Murray), and Cole (Tina). Her sisters Sue-Ann Poisson (the late Phil Poisson), Karen Gratton, Donna Gratton and brother John Gratton and his wife Katie. Her many nieces and nephews, and her grandchildren Kenneth, Ava, Sunita, Bailey (Mycala), Dawson, Kassidy, Morgan, Hunter and Cameryn. Cindy was a passionate advocate for a variety of causes and participated in provincial and national anti-poverty organizations. She volunteered her time to local newspapers and media to raise awareness about income insecurity and issues affecting low-income families. Right until her last days, she shared her passion for social action and social change, and loved making music, writing blogs, and poetry. The family would like to send their appreciation to those who supported Cindy through friendship, as well as her medical team, from the nurses and PSWs, and in her last days, Dr. Katie Forfar and Mike Daly and the team at M.G Daly Funeral Home Ltd in Maynooth.
