In loving memory of Cecil McPhail of Maynooth, ON, who passed away peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor in Bancroft, on Monday, October 27, 2008. Cecil McPhail, in his 88th year, was the beloved husband of Betz (Geisler) McPhail. Loved father of David McPhail and his wife Faye of Abaco Bahamas, Glen McPhail and his wife Carolyn of Oshawa, Barbara Inward and her husband Bob of Scarborough, Darlene Bush and her husband Mel of Ennismore, and Elaine Foster and her husband Lawrie of New Port Richey, Florida. Grandfather to Derek Inward (Anneliese), Ian Inward (Shelley), Sean Bush (Lauren) Jenn Bush, Amy (Kobi) Balila and Lindsey Foster. Great grandfather to Jocelyn and Joshua Inward. Brother of Weldon (Olive) McPhail of Haliburton, and Ev (Bob) Lohnes of Maynooth. Brother-in-law to Ruth Geisler and Kathe Geisler. Predeceased by brothers, Fred McPhail and Bert McPhail, sister Anne Pollock and grandson Ronald McPhail. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service for Cecil will take place at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth) on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., with The Rev. Lorne Trimble officiating. Cremation has already taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bancroft Centennial Manor, or the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
